From friday until sunday we have been baking and baking and baking. One friend came over to help as well. Egyptian biscuits, finnish biscuits, cake, pie, bread..you name it.
I remember once while travelling to Egypt on Ramadan at the last weekend before Eid. All streets were filled with the lovely scent of fresly baked biscuits and bread. It seems to be a tradition to bake during the weekend before Eid. I wonder if it is around all muslim world or just in Egypt?
How Ramadan went this fast? I feel that it just started and now it is already the last week. Before it started I was a little worried if I would be able to fast as I have been having some trouble with blood sugar levels but Alhamdulillah all has went well.
